The registration process includes two main aspects:
- Conference Registration
- Hotel Reservation
There is only one registration form that allows you to fill
in the information concerning the conference, and also the request for hotel
reservaton. The same form is also used to include the payment instructions
that will be handled by Viagens Abreu, the official conference agency:

Euro-Par 2005 has the following registration categories:
- Early: until June 24, with lower conference fees and hotel room rates.
- Late: after June 24
- After August 19, registration
must be made on-site, at the Conference Desk.
Please note that the early registration deadline coincides
with the final date for hotel reservation at special reduced rates. You should
register and make your hotel reservation, at the official conference hotel,
well before this date. After that date, room availability cannot be guaranteed.
There are two categories of participants:
- Student: an evidence of full-time student status must be sent by FAX
jointly with the registration form, and also presented at the local conference

Conference fee includes lunches, coffee breaks, reception
and conference banquet, tutorials, workshop, and a copy of the proceedings.
If you are an author, in the registration form you may request
an extra page, at the cost of 50 euros.
An accompanying person may additionally take part in the
social events, at the cost of 65 euros. This must be indicated on the registration
Euro-Par 2005 will provide some
limited support for registration of full-time graduate students attending
the conference. If you need to receive this support, please send an e-mail
to the conference chair at firstname.lastname@example.org indicating the reasons
for your interest in the conference and why you would otherwise be unable
to attend. Students with accepted contributions have higher chances to get
support, however, any full-time student is qualified to apply. In addition
to your letter, you need to send (by mail of fax) evidence of full-time student
status, and a statement from your department that states either that no financial
support is available or that a partial financial support will be provided.
Applications will be considered
until the 24th June and will be subject to availability of funds for this
Hotel reservation should be made
through the registration form. The beautiful Hotel Costa da Caparica is the
official conference hotel for Euro-Par 2005 that has reserved a block of
200 rooms for the participants at a substantial discount over normal summer
rates (see accommodations here). We
can only guarantee these prices and reserves until June 24. After this date
the hotels may be fully booked, because of the great demand. We suggest that
you act promptly to register and reserve your room in the Hotel Costa da
Payments can be made either by credit card (VISA, MasterCard,
Amex, Diners), or through bank transfer (see Registration Form below), to
Viagens Abreu, which is the company actually taking care of the payments.
In order to complete the registration, you should fill the
registration form, and send it to the FAX number +351 21 415 6383. This form
is available as a PDF(*) file and
as DOC(*) file. (N.B. The PDF file
is editable with any PDF Reader).
The registration will not be valid if Viagens Abreu does
not confirm the reception of the payment.
Conference fees will not be reinbursed, in any case, after

The payment must accompany this Application Form. Without the payment the
hotel reservation cannot be confirmed.
After June 24, Abreu cannot assure hotel availability.
Viagens Abreu will send you confirmation by fax, letter or email.
Changes in reservations will be subject to an administration charge of 15
Cancellations between 8 weeks and 4 weeks prior to the arrival will merit
Cancellations less than 4 weeks prior to the arrival will not merit a refund.
Emergency cancellations (for e.g. illness, death of a relative or birth
of a baby.) can be refund 100% if duly proved.
Notice of any cancellation/change must be sent in writing.
Extra expenses in the Hotels must be paid directly.
